Nature Walks
You are invited on a walking tour of the oasis to experience firsthand its geology and natural history. You meet in the library where Pat Flanagan, our naturalist, begins with aerial images and maps to locate us (we are visible from space) before strolling the grounds to learn about the palm oasis and desert plants and animals. The history of the Serrano and Chemehuevi Indians who lived here, the pond and garden are all part of the story.
There is no charge for the naturalist walking tour.
