The Hermitage Until the early 1980's The Hermitage was the washhouse for the 29 Palms Inn. It is a Bonsai style wood-frame cabin with two single dormer beds built into the large bay windows. Watch the desert stars while you drift asleep. The bathroom with a shower is a short trip across the giant sun deck, which faces the oasis. This cabin has a small fridge, coffee maker and microwave oven to provide that little bit of extra convenience. A double futon couch as well as a loft (where some have been known to throw down a sleeping bag) make room for those extra guests. Please, no pets in this room. ($50 deposit required at reservation)
